Posts With No Content
Solution
Why do some of my posts have no content?
Sometimes the content sources you chose (ArticleBase, Ezine, Yahoo Answers, Yahoo News and Sooper) do not return content because the keyword phrase is obscure or too narrow and the post may not have an article. It may or may not always have other content such as Youtube video, product feeds, Clickbank or Google ad, etc., again, depending on that keyword phrase.
So, what can you do about it? There's a feature in Content Mage to remove posts with no content. This feature is not enabled by default when you install a WPMage site. To enable it you will need to login to your wp-admin dashboard > Settings > Content Mage and scroll to the bottom of that page and tic the box by "Unpublish posts with "Zero Content"" and set the number of words required to treated as "no content." The default is 20, meaning an article must have at least 21 or more words to be published. These posts are placed in draft mode which allows the client to review them and add content if they would like to do so.
After you have made this selection, Save Changes, then scroll back to the top of the page. There are three options to choose from. Click the top button, "Check Database for Empty Posts" and posts with no content will be placed into draft mode.
Keep in mind - ALL posts and pages that do not have at least 21 words (if you leave it at the default) will be placed into Draft mode - that includes your contact page. So, to keep the Contact Page from going into Draft mode, make sure you add content to it - instead of using just the contact form.
